THE NEEDAM is an endeavour of Mr. Nitin Sharma, Broadcast Professional and Dr Jigyasa Sharma, Professor (Electronics Engineering) who left their jobs to move out of the busy city life. Smitten with the mountains, they always wanted to acquire a patch of land around Dehradun to create a private living space to escape from the pollution of Delhi NCR whenever they wanted to. Interacting with the local people while hunting for a suitable land they were slowly consumed by the idea of permanently settling down in the area. Opening a resort emerged as a wonderful way of providing a solid reason to move to Uttarakhand.
