Nilayam provides its occupants a cosy bunk bed in a glamorous hostel having private luggage space with locks, and an attached washroom. The room housed on the 2nd floor provides a stunning view of the song river and its entire lush green valley.

It has a wide and private balcony for sipping tea/coffee or reading a book while watching the landscape outside. There is a rooftop activity/party area on the terrace of the same floor where the hostellers can enjoy board games, play guitar, dance, dine and have fun together. Suitable for groups or families; with excellent facilities intended to offer top-notch comfort and convenience, it is an ideal choice for them.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

We thank you for choosing to stay at “The Needam” – A Resort by SAADAKSH. To make your stay comfortable and to avoid possible misunderstandings, please familiarise yourself with our house rules. For all kinds of information you can contact the reception.

HOUSE RULES

CHECK IN FORMALITIES:

  • ID PROOF - As per the directives of the Government of India, Department of Tourism & Uttarakhand Police, all Indian Nationals MUST COMPULSORILY produce proper proof of identification upon check-in. Valid Identification documents include Passport, Voters ID card, Driver’s License, Aadhar Card., College ID proofs, Company ID proofs, Organisational ID cards. Documents MUST include a photograph. All Foreign Nationals MUST COMPULSORILY produce a Passport with valid VISA.  The resort accommodation can be used only by the person registered at the reception.

BILLS AND PAYMENTS: Room Tariff is to be paid at the time of Check in.

CHECK IN and CHECK OUT:
Check–In at 12:00 noon & Check–Out at 11:00 am. Early Check-In and Late Check-Out, is subjected to room availability and extra charges will be applicable.

VISITORS POLICY:
Visitors are strictly NOT allowed in the rooms. If required they may meet the guest at the Lawn or at the Restaurant/ Pool Side.

OUTSIDE FOOD: Bringing and consuming OUTSIDE food and drinks or ordering from external catering services is NOT allowed in rooms or any other resort area.

SWIMMING POOL RULES:

  • The swimming pool of “The Needam” is filled from and drained into the adjoining stream of natural fresh water. We do not use any chemical as cleaning or disinfecting agent. The pool cleaning is done twice a week and the pool filling is subjected to the season and availability of water in the adjoining stream.
  • In order to maintain the Swimming Pool hygiene, please take note that we ONLY permit LYCRA made fabric as swimming costumes for the Ladies, Gents & Children. The Gents have to compulsorily wear a proper Swimming Trunk. (Undergarments / Bermudas / Sports shorts / T-shirts are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the swimming pool.) (TIMINGS: 10 AM TO 6 PM)
  • Guests using the pool are required to take shower and change their clothes in the changing room situated next to the swimming pool.
  • Guests should dry themselves before entering the room otherwise extra cleaning fee of ₹500 will be charged.  Watch your children - Children are the responsibility of the parents. Children under seven (7) years old or less than four feet tall must have adult supervision at all times in the pool. We have a separate pool for the kids.
  • No glassware or bottle, food and drinks are allowed in the pool area. Likewise, candy, chewing gum or smoking are not permitted at poolside.
  • Persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or narcotics will be denied entry to the pool. Any person acting in an unsafe or objectionable manner will be asked to leave.
  • Although the Resort takes utmost care in operating the pool, the guests should take care of themselves, in case of any mishap the Resort will not be held responsible.

LOST ROOM KEYS: Keys lost or broken will be charged ₹ 500/-.

ROOM CLEANING

  • The house keeping will service the room in the sequence system between 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM. Extra room cleaning charges of ₹200 will be applicable for any cleaning other than this service.
  • In order to conserve water, Linen change is done on the third day only. Extra change will be done on a fee of ₹200. 9.

RESTAURANT TIMINGS: 8AM TO 10.00 PM

POWER BACK UP: A Genset and an Inverter are provided at the Resort as power back-up. The Genset will only be used in case of heavy load requirements or charging the inverter, otherwise the inverter will be used as a backup which provides a fan, a bedside lamp and a bathroom lights of each room.

  • It is not allowed to bring weapons, narcotics, inflammable and explosive matter, matter with strong and unpleasant odour, or any kind of electric appliances into the Resort.
  • SMOKING INSIDE THE ROOMS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED

  • Possession and/or use of prohibited drugs is strictly prohibited within the resort.
  • Consumption of alcohol by people below 25 years of age is prohibited.
  • No foul/abusive language with fellow guests/ staff will NOT be tolerated.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:

  • Please keep the equipment and furniture safe. We will be forced to charge you any intentional damage caused during your stay. Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment, linen, dispensers, etc. will be charged of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges.
  • Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article. Any damage to Resort property, whether accidental or wilful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room.
  • Rooms left in an uninhabitable state – for example lingering smell from market purchases, excessive mess, acts of vandalism – will be charged at a full night stay and/or reimbursement of loss/cost of replacement.

GUEST'S BELONGINGS:
Guests are requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out and going to bed. The Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss / or damage to the Guest's belongings or any other property from either the resort room or any other part of the resort for any cause whatsoever including theft.

UNCLAIMED ITEMS:
Lost & Found items are held for 14 days while we attempt to contact the guest. If guest contact information is incorrect or not provided and we are unable to contact the guest during the 14 days holding period, the unclaimed item(s) may be discarded.

CHILDREN:
Children should be under the supervision of their parents at all times. For safety reasons, please do not leave children unattended in the rooms or allow them to roam in the Resort property unsupervised. Parents will be held liable for any damages caused by their children at the property.

PARKING AT OWNER’S RISK:
All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. “The Needam” shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the Resort property. If a vehicle is left in the Resort parking lot after the guest has departed without the written consent of the Resort, the Resort reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. No vehicle washing or repairs on Resort premises.

If the guests decide to end their stay earlier, they are obliged to pay for the full reservation. The Resort keeps the right to cancel accommodation to guests at any time due to technical reasons.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:
Alcoholic beverages may be consumed or allowed only within your rented premises or within the resort designated areas. Please Drink Moderately. Excessive use of alcoholic beverages and open displays of drunk and unpleasant behaviour are not permitted and it will result in immediate removal by Resort Management.

The guests should at all times take care of themselves. Although the Resort aims at taking all necessary precautions and measures for the safety of the guests, in case of any injury/mishappening on the Resort premises, the guest shall not hold the Resort management responsible.

REQUEST: Electricity and water are precious resources. Please close the door and switch off all the lights, fans, heaters, geysers and AC and close the taps when leaving the room. As a registered guest, you are responsible for behaving in a decent and responsible manner wherein you do not disturb the peace of other guests. No loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on the premises. In the event of a disturbance, one request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the Resort without a refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 1 to 10 days to the date of arrival- No refund, 11-20 days -50% refund, 21-30 days- 100% refund.

Guests are required to observe these House Rules which are designed and aimed for their protection. The management reserves the right to implement additional and applicable rules to regulate the safety and well being of our guests. Violation of these Rules will result in eviction without refund for all guests. By booking at Sunsetview Beach Resort (SVBR), the guest is deemed to have read, understood and accepted aforesaid House Rules. Rules and regulations might change at any time.
